Permanent Part-time Position (30.4) Salary $100,000 plus superannuation (pro-rata) An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an innovative and passionate Marketing & Engagement Manager to join the Regional Development Australia (RDA) Murray team! Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing & Engagement Manager is the strategic driver of the RDA Murray brand and will play a key role in driving the organisation forward, leveraging initiative, creativity, a natural flair for storytelling and engaging with the many and varied communities across the Murray region. The position is responsible for aligning our vision, values and brand, with the content, advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategies. There are elements of this position that can be automated, and the ideal candidate will be savvy at implementing process improvements to fully leverage the resources available. A natural tendency to show drive and initiative will be advantageous in working with third-party agencies and regional stakeholders to build creative campaigns that build upon the reach of the RDA Murray brand and deliver real clarity about who we are and what we do. The ideal candidate will be results focused and able to quickly identify opportunities for regional advocacy; they will be media savvy and be confident pitching stories that increase the advocacy efforts of the organisation. They will have a strong grasp on digital marketing strategies, to increase online engagement, while also being able to turn regional research into valuable thought leadership that positions the organisation as an expert on regional issues. To be successful in this role you will be a strategic thinker who finds it easy to capture the message and tone of a communication, specific to the audience. You will have excellent organisational skills and be a self-motivator who enjoys using initiative and going above and beyond, looking to improve the way things are done. Conversing easily with stakeholders is also critical. You enjoy opportunities to be creative, while also being able to analyse data and turn your hand to digital marketing, web development and internal communications. You will be an outstanding writer. This position is 0.8 EFT (ideally Monday to Thursday). About RDA Murray RDA Murray is a small not-for-profit organisation with a large remit – driving regional economic development across the Murray region. The successful candidate will enjoy working with a small team, enjoy a collaborative workplace, and equally enjoy working autonomously. Our team is going through a period of renewal, with new leadership and a new RDA Murray Board and Chair to be appointed in 2025. The position is based at our office in Albury, and some travel will be required.
