Applications close Tuesday 25 February 2025 at 11.59PM Overview Work type: Full Time - Fixed Term Salary: $109,730 - $132,764 Grade: VPSG5 Occupation: Communications, Marketing and Media Location: CBD Reference: 6624About the Role This is a Fixed Term Position to November 2025 The Marketing Lead is responsible for the management and delivery of key marketing activities including passenger information and support, activations, digital content, partnerships and targeted marketing campaigns. Working with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure work in DTP is supported through appropriate marketing opportunities. Manage Marketing campaigns that change consumer behaviour and attitudes from conception to conclusion. Apply sound research and written communications skills to produce accurate and easy-to-understand marketing materials and collateral. Coordinate all aspects of marketing campaigns, programs and events to ensure delivery is within scope. Develop briefings and presentations that support transport initiatives, proposals and decision making. Negotiate with, take guidance from, and influence various internal and external stakeholders, including transport operators, community groups, and other parts of DTP. Provide strategic advice regarding marketing and communication strategies across DTP. Influence key internal and external stakeholders to ensure departmental partners are aware of marketing campaigns and their views/input gathered as required. You will work across teams, responding swiftly to changing priorities and collaborating with external partners to drive engagement. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively will be essential in managing public expectations and navigating sensitive discussions. With a focus on project delivery, you will define key tasks, coordinate execution, and monitor progress to meet critical milestones. Your leadership will create a sense of purpose within the team, linking day-to-day work with the broader impact on Victoria’s transport network. Qualifications and Experience Mandatory Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in marketing, public relations or a related field.
