Located on Light Square in the CBD, ILA houses the Aurora Restaurant , The Lab (a digitally immersive multi-genre entertainment venue), and The Light Room Bar , Gallery and Studio featuring 150sqm of our digitally immersive screens. No two days at ILA are the same. As our Marketing Manager you’ll be the voice of ILA’s brands and shape the way we connect with the community, working across various departments and projects to turn ideas into compelling narratives and impactful marketing campaigns. About the role The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that will increase brand awareness, grow and engage our target audiences and drive people and revenue to our business. They are responsible for creating high-quality and engaging content across all aspects of the business, ensuring ILA’s brand principles are maintained across all external communications. Develop and execute the marketing strategy for ILA, identifying target audiences and managing the creative direction. Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative content for shows, promotions and events, utilising graphic design packages. Develop and implement targeted advertising campaigns using various channels including digital, print and out-of-home to achieve targeted revenue. Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy including email marketing, social media advertising and other digital channels, and manage ILA’s websites. Use data-driven insights to optimise digital campaigns and improve ROI. Manage all brands that sit under ILA and ensure consistency across all channels and communications. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities and opportunities for growth. Manage multiple social media accounts for the ILA and Aurora brands, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Manage public relations and communications including the relationship with the external PR agency, writing and pitching press releases, seeking media opportunities and coordinating interviews and on-site activities. Develop and maintain relationships with media partners, agencies, influencers and other stakeholders. About you You’re a proactive creative who thrives both independently and as part of a team. Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns. Direct social media and digital marketing experience. Ability to deliver creative content across all channels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management, multitasking and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and establish rapport across various areas of the organisation. Commitment to a values-based organization. An eye for design and understanding of branding. Skills in Adobe Suite highly desirable but not essential. Experience in WordPress highly desirable but not essential.
