Add expected salary to your profile for insights The Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) has a history of serving multicultural communities since 1976, and of contributing to the development of Queensland as a successful multicultural society. ECCQ delivers culturally appropriate in-home aged care under its Diversicare brand, and residential aged care under its Berlasco brand. In addition, we run a number of advocacy, health & diversity education programs. Our specialised unit, MULTICULTURAL PARTNERS, offers training and support to Aged Care service providers (including CHSP) who work with CALD communities. Purpose of Role The Multicultural Partners Marketing and Communications Officer is responsible for managing and enhancing the visibility and engagement of the Multicultural Partners program through social media, newsletters, digital communications, and marketing materials. This role ensures that all content aligns with ECCQ’s branding, policies, and guidelines while effectively communicating key messages to diverse stakeholders, including multicultural communities, aged care providers, and government agencies. Key Responsibilities, not limited to: Social Media Management Newsletters Development External Stakeholders Engagement and Communication Website & Community Engagement Marketing & Content Development Events & Community Outreach Support About You Essential knowledge and skills: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field. Proven experience managing social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement. Strong copywriting and editing skills with an eye for detail. Proficiency in Canva and other design tools for creating marketing materials. Experience using email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor or CRM. Ability to manage websites and update content using CMS platforms. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Experience working with multicultural communities and understanding cultural sensitivity in communications. Application Process Applicants should submit their resume and a covering letter.
