Job Description
Master Data Management Solution Architect Location: Sydney Job Type: Contract (1 year, renewable) We are seeking a Master Data Management Solution Architect to lead the technical solutioning process and manage dependencies while ensuring the implementation meets business requirements. Responsibilities: Leads high-level technical solutioning process and evaluates current technical feasibility options. Suggests technical roadmap and manages dependencies. Identifies implementation risks and writes code. Defines requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria, and data stewardship workflows. Advises on performance optimizations and best practices for scalable data models, pipelines, and queries. Provides supervision and guidance to the development team. Assesses current state technical architecture and advises on MDM enhancements. Defines measurable metrics for successful MDM platform deployment. Plans and leads MDM requirement analysis sessions with business users. Creates data validation and reconciliation rules for data across multiple applications. Owns and drives MDM solutions across Cloud Data Management. Engages in complex MDM projects utilizing various tools. Explains functional and technical features of MDM products to clients. Maintains strong knowledge of MDM products and assists clients during vendor selection and implementation. Skills and Experience: At least 2-3 years of MDM implementation experience. Experience with at least one MDM tool (e.g., Informatica, Reltio). Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools for data integration. Direct experience in MDM design, development, support, and operations. Familiarity with cloud-computing infrastructure solutions (Azure/AWS/GCP) and data lake design.
