St John the Apostle Catholic Primary School St John the Apostle Catholic Primary School is located in Tarneit and opened in 2015. We belong to the Parish of St Andrew’s, Werribee. Our vision states: Through the guidance of God, we at St John the Apostle aspire to create a positive culture, where all members of our community are welcomed, valued and empowered to contribute and succeed. We are currently seeking a teacher who is able to fill a Maternity Leave replacement position. The position is currently to continue class programs in the event of staff absences, however the successful applicant must be willing to share or oversee a class in the event of further extended leave arising. The position can range from 3 days to 5 days a week by negotiation with the applicant and can commence at anytime during Term 1, 2025. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate: A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of the students Strong interpersonal and communication skills The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to be flexible The capacity to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues The ability to differentiate their teaching and make adjustments according to student needs An understanding of the curriculum and the skills of an effective teacher Strong classroom management and a talent for promoting positive student behaviour. Special Requirements VIT Registration Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to undertake this into the future.
