The Design and Development team offers an exciting mix of operational and strategic opportunities that work to ensure Crown remains the ultimate destination for joyful experiences. We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team on a 24-month fixed-term contract. As a Mechanical Engineer at Crown Resorts, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of building systems for multiple types of assets. You will be responsible for supporting the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems across a range of Crown Projects. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and reliable functioning of these systems, while adhering to industry codes, standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate site activities and review contractor programs to ensure project requirements are met. Manage rectification works and conduct inspections for installation quality. Ensure team compliance through training and monitoring. Uphold health and safety responsibilities outlined in CrownSAFE guidelines. Prioritize personnel safety by adhering to health and safety requirements and maintaining a safe working environment. About You Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or progression through trades in a management position. Extensive experience working in project management of complex multidisciplinary engineering or construction projects. Previous experience in building or design-related major projects. Experienced and technically competent with building services including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire, vertical transportation, and associated services.
