About our Opportunity An excellent opportunity has become available for a newly graduated Mechanical Engineer to join our Corinthian manufacturing operation based at St Marys. Your role within the Maintenance and Engineering Team will be to support hands-on on the factory floor with maintenance, process, and projects, coordinating the on-floor maintenance activities to improve plant safety, effectiveness, and reliability. In addition, you will: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations Support engineers with the design, specification, procurement, and implementation of new equipment Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to develop maintenance plans, procure parts, and oversee the execution of maintenance tasks on plant and facilities Contribute innovative ideas to improve existing products, plant, and process Work with cross-functional teams to address and improve production-related issues that will drive operational excellence About You A newly graduated mechanical engineer who is willing to learn with an interest and desire to build a career within a manufacturing environment. This role is aligned to someone who enjoys being hands-on, not sitting behind a computer all day, and is comfortable getting out onto the factory floor collaborating with factory team members. In addition, you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field 1-2 years of relevant internship or entry-level engineering experience is preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with engineering and maintenance management software such as MEX Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design and drafting What's On Offer We will provide you with the required training and you will enjoy continued support from an experienced team.
