The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. In your new role, you will strategically develop and implement media and communication strategies tailored to program needs and audience groups, ensuring they achieve measurable objectives. You will identify, source, and manage media opportunities that enhance Transgrid’s brand and reputation while collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders. Your work will align communications with Transgrid’s purpose, vision, strategy, and values, reinforcing its customer-centric model. Additionally, you will cultivate key media relationships, provide guidance on effective communication platforms and messaging, and create clear, engaging content across various formats. About you Tertiary qualifications at Degree level in Journalism, Communications or Business or 6-10 years’ equivalent industry experience Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to create and edit high-quality content for digital channels Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including consultation, negotiation, and networking to drive media storytelling Effective time management and analytical skills to meet deadlines, influence outcomes, and assess business needs.
