General Manager Niche Media (IDEA, ADR, 30UNDER30, inside, Marketing Mag, FM Media) Role Overview: At Niche Media , we believe that success is built on meaningful connections. Our close-knit team works together to nurture and strengthen relationships with our existing clients across a variety of exciting platforms, including the Australian Design Review (ADR) . We are the people behind Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) and the 30UNDER30 programs. As a Media Partnerships Executive , you’ll be at the heart of our mission to turn those relationships into mutually beneficial commercial opportunities. Your role is all about putting customers first, identifying fresh opportunities, and finding innovative ways to collaborate and grow. Objectives: Achieve Budget Cultivate Strong Partnerships: Build and maintain a diverse network of commercial partnerships with clients across niche platforms, fostering strong relationships and enhancing our brand presence in the market. Drive Revenue Growth: Strategically identify and execute campaigns for clients on niche channels to drive new business opportunities, resulting in measurable revenue growth and an expansion of market presence. Collaborative Excellence: Work closely with the General Manager Commercial and the Commercial and Editorial teams, leveraging collective expertise to create compelling and mutually beneficial commercial opportunities aligned with company goals and values. Client Portfolio Management: Pro-actively manage and service existing client portfolios, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing their needs, and consistently meeting or exceeding set targets. Sales Pipeline Management: Establish a detailed and well-structured sales pipeline that efficiently tracks leads and prospects through each stage of the sales process. Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google platforms: You’ll need to be adept at managing client communication. Deliverables to Client Campaigns: Continuously deliver high-quality and impactful results for client campaigns that align with their objectives and expectations, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Professional Development: Continuously seek opportunities for personal growth and skill development to enhance effectiveness in driving long-term partnerships and achieving business objectives. Qualifications: Qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in media sales, partnerships, or sales roles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of the digital media landscape and emerging trends. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Creative problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking. Commitment to achieving targets and driving results.
