Media and Communications Advisor, Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner - Executive Level 1 The recently appointed Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner is seeking a high performing media and communications expert to join his office in Melbourne. This is an opportunity to join a small team supporting the Anti-Slavery Commissioner in his role combatting modern slavery in Australia and globally. A function of the Commissioner's role is conducting education and community awareness initiatives relating to modern slavery, disseminating information relating to modern slavery and promoting compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018. The person employed would work closely with the Commissioner and his staff on a range of media and communications related duties, including: How you can help make a difference As this is a new position in the recently established office of the Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner, the person filling this position would have an opportunity to develop the role over time in response to the needs of the Commissioner and the office. The ideal candidate will have: The position is based in Melbourne and you would be required to work from an office in the CBD, with some scope for working from home.
