Medical Director Acute and Access Services Permanent full time or part time opportunity to provide leadership and management in the delivery of efficient, safe and quality care. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives. Demonstrated evidence of acting at a leadership level and evidence of an understanding of operational and clinical leadership through effective clinical governance, education and research. This full-time position works routine hours per fortnight corresponding with the operational requirements of the clinical teams and service at MNMH-TPCH. It is expected the position provides rostered psychiatric clinical services out of business hours to MNMH-TPCH and participates on the ECT roster. Be compliant with the timely and accurate input and collection of consumer related demographic information, diagnosis, outcome collections and provision of service activity into appropriate applications. The data and information include the electronic entry and completion of documentation to meet legislative requirements, including Mental Health Act 2016 documentation, admissions, discharges and transfers.
