Immediate start in a healthcare organisation based primarily in Macquarie University (North Ryde) Multiple roles (Part-time and Full-time). Flexible, job-sharing arrangements available. Salary from $58,685 p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation and access to the full salary packaging benefit to maximise your take-home pay. The Role This role is responsible for the patient’s journey through the practice. The role will include clinical, administrative, and research assistant duties that are vital for the efficient operation of the MRI department and the extensive research activities that occur within Macquarie Medical Imaging (MMI) at MQ Health. MMI will consider a reasonable level of job flexibility for the right applicant. The applicant will need to be available from 7 AM - 7 PM Monday to Friday. The full-time 38-hour work week can be completed over 5 or 4 days. Part-time employment will be considered for the right applicant. This role will be a great fit for current students who are looking to gain experience in medical imaging. Duties and Responsibilities Liaise with clinicians and researchers to enable medical imaging associated with research studies and clinical trials. Liaise with clinical and research patients to confirm appointments and convey necessary pre-appointment instructions. Assist radiology staff in completing the examination including preparing patients for examinations, assisting with patient positioning, and guiding the patients through the final stages of their appointment. Liaise with external healthcare facilities to confirm patient safety and retrieve imaging and documentation that may be required prior to their examination. Administrative duties for clinical practice and research studies. Stock control, cannulation, cleaning, and housekeeping duties. Coordination with internal staff members e.g., arranging cannulation and appointment times with the wards. About You You will be a caring and compassionate individual with a commitment to providing a patient-centred approach. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ideally, you will have started on your tertiary education journey or completed a degree (recognised within Australia). Previous working experience in a clinical setting performing administrative duties will be highly regarded.
