In this role, you will apply specialised scientific knowledge to perform, analyse, and troubleshoot standard diagnostic procedures while offering professional services that require complex practice skills. You’ll be key to ensuring high standards of performance, accuracy, and quality in diagnostic testing, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes. As an experienced professional, you will apply sound professional judgement to select and implement new and existing diagnostic methods, continuously improving lab operations through your knowledge and operational experience. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for supervising the validation of Quality Control processes, working collaboratively with management to maintain and enhance laboratory standards. About You We’re looking for a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Medical Scientist . You will bring: Scientific Expertise and Problem-Solving: A high level of scientific knowledge, technical skill, and the ability to perform high-quality laboratory testing, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions. Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate staff, work collaboratively, and deliver excellent customer service. Organisational and Workflow Management: Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and independently manage workflows to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and quality. Experience and Knowledge in Laboratory Operations: Extensive knowledge in medical laboratory disciplines, quality control procedures, and hands-on experience with general lab operations and pathology services.
