About You We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scientist with a strong background in pathology laboratory operations and a passion for delivering high-quality results. You will bring technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to collaboration in a team environment. Key requirements include: Skills and Attributes : Ability to perform diagnostic tests, manage time effectively, troubleshoot equipment, and handle sensitive information confidentially. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential. Experience : Proven experience in analytical laboratory equipment use, general pathology laboratory operations, and laboratory computing. Experience with Quality Control and working in multi-disciplinary laboratories is highly regarded. Technical Knowledge : Sound understanding of laboratory principles, quality procedures, and accreditation requirements. Knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices and privacy legislation is essential. Education and Professionalism : A relevant degree in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) and a commitment to professional development and high standards of laboratory practice.
