Job Description In this full time fixed term role, based in Richmond, you will be responsible for administrative tasks associated with credentialing and administrative oversight of specialist medical practitioners appointed at Epworth Healthcare as well as supporting the varied operational requirements of Medical Services. Your primary area of responsibility will be the credentialing of both new specialists to Epworth HealthCare and current specialists seeking reappointment. You will be part of the Academic and Medical Services team and report to the Group Manager Medical Workforce. You will make an impact by: Being a key participant in the Medical Workforce team ensuring a safe and effective medical workforce at Epworth HealthCare Engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation, and externally, to support the functions of the Medical Workforce team Ensuring compliance of all our doctors with our practitioner credentialing and appointment processes Supporting critical operational imperatives within the Medical Services team To be successful in this role… You are an engaging and enthusiastic individual, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills that enable you to easily influence, build relationships and earn the trust and respect of other Medical Workforce team members, your colleagues and the medical workforce. You will ideally have: An understanding of Medical Workforce administration in healthcare A high level of interpersonal and organisational skills The ability to prioritise tasks and ensure deadlines are met Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite Previous experience in a health service medical workforce role would be well regarded.
