About the Role We are now seeking the services of a full time Member Service Officer that can work between our Bathurst and Lithgow branches. The position is thirty-eight hours per week, Monday to Friday with approximately 3 days in the Bathurst branch and the remaining 2 days in the Lithgow branch accordingly. A Member Service Officer is the initial point of contact that our members and customers have with Family First, whether it be in person, over the phone or responding to online enquiries. This position provides superior customer service to our valuable members, and responds to all member queries regarding accounts, products and services in a timely and professional manner. It is essential for the Member Service Officer to maintain sound, current knowledge of all Family First products and services, so as to identify opportunities to offer members products that would suit their financial objectives. About You You demonstrate prior experience in a customer service role and have excellent soft people skills. You are able to manage difficult and complex conversations with the ultimate aim of achieving high customer satisfaction. You can manage your time well, are a team player, and possess an interest in building the Family First Bank's brand in the community. Experience in a customer service role, including identifying customer needs, and helping customers to choose suitable products Ability to accurately process transactions with a strong attention to detail Familiar with the secure use of online and mobile banking services Excellent listening and communication skills Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Ability to investigate discrepancies and problem solve Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in customer service role within a financial institution is highly advantageous. Tier 2 accreditation is highly advantageous. Initial training is provided which will ensure you are progressing towards being competent as a Member Service Officer.
