The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Hunter NSW. As you visit and spend time with elderly male residents at HammondCare Cardiff, you'll help with activities to build friendship amongst the male residents. Some common activities include cooking at BBQ, card games with tea/coffee cake and an occasional beer and chips. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. Requirements One hour per week or fortnight for 6 months or longer.
