The Acute Care Team, Adult Mental Health, Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services are looking for a Mental Health Clinician to join their team. Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) delivers a broad range of specialist addiction and mental health services within the Metro South catchment. These include community-based ambulatory and residential services, acute care services in the community, psychiatric rehabilitation, consultation-liaison to hospital wards and emergency departments and addiction services. We provide inpatient services at the Princess Alexandra, Logan and Redland Hospitals. We are the major public healthcare provider for Brisbane's south side, Logan, Redlands and the Scenic Rim. About the Role Demonstrated ability to provide high quality, efficient, patient-centered and evidence-based Psychology, Occupational Therapy and/or Social Worker assessment and management to patients in the Mental Health Team. Demonstrated ability to use high-quality verbal and written communication to work cooperatively within the interprofessional team to achieve the best patient-centered outcomes. Demonstrated ability to develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities. Demonstrated ability or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and skills to participate in the initiation, planning and evaluation of local service development initiatives.
