Mental Health Clinician- OT Gr2 - Child & Youth Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services. Position Details: Permanent, Part-time (0.8EFT) Salary Range: $84k - $94k + Superannuation Benefits: 5 Weeks Annual Leave, Salary Packaging & Novated Leasing Based in Moorabbin About us: Alfred Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS) is friendly to infants, children, young people and their families/carers. We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks. Our service is divided into two streams: 0-11 and 12-26 years, and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders, and outreach support. What you’ll be doing The Clinician (OT2) will be part of a supportive interdisciplinary team, reporting to the Inner South Sector Team Leader. Care will involve the young person, their family, and support networks, combining lived experience and clinical staff. Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other services to ensure best outcomes for the clients. About you We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and well-organized person to work and collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include providing assessment, treatment, and intervention to children and youth (aged 4-25 years) and their families. Along with the relevant professional registration, you’ll have demonstrated skills and experience in discipline-specific assessments and interventions. You'll also need to complete/provide a valid Victorian Working with Children Check, be willing to undergo a background check, and have Australian working rights.
