About the role Seeking experienced, dedicated, and empathetic support workers for our brand-new accommodations in Ivanhoe, Victoria. Minimum Certificate IV in AOD/Mental Health or equivalent qualification 1+ years' prior experience : Providing one-to-one support in AOD, mental health, community services, or forensic sectors, with a focus on complex clients. Experience with diverse challenges : Supporting individuals dealing with substance use, mental illness, intellectual disability, and homelessness. Non-government sector experience : Familiarity with AOD and/or MH environments. Strong communication skills : Proficient in report and case note writing. Resilience and adaptability : Thriving in challenging and high-pressure environments. Legal knowledge : Understanding of relevant legislation like the Mental Health Act and Privacy Act. Recovery-focused approach : Solid grasp of harm minimization strategies for substance abuse treatment. Why work for Crescent Respite?
