As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia. We have an exciting opportunity for a Metering SME to join the dynamic Bluecurrent team in the Riverina, Murray and Capital areas. In this role, you will provide technical support to Bluecurrent, its Customers and Providers, ensuring that the installation and maintenance of new and existing technologies are managed efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring that Bluecurrent has safe, efficient and quality assured Field Service Providers. Provide leadership and support within the Field Services team. Ensure that field technicians (internal and external) are sufficiently trained to perform and complete the jobs with a high level of quality. Provide practical and technical expertise and leadership to the team to ensure metering installations are completed efficiently and effectively, meeting all compliance and safety requirements. Drive continuous and traceable improvement into the working processes of Bluecurrent FSPs and to instill a continuous improvement mindset across Bluecurrent FSP collective. Who we are looking for: To be successful in this role your communication, relationship building and influencing skills will be excellent with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with all stakeholders. You will also ideally have/ or bring knowledge in: A Licenced Electrician/Electrical Inspector A valid Drivers Licence Construction Industry Safety Induction Card UEENEEG171A Install, set up and commission interval metering Ideally have 10 years electrical experience – Metering Installation and Maintenance A background in Distribution Metering, Contestable Metering and Network procedures Audit experience or familiar with the concept of auditing Experience of incident management process and systems Understanding of Safety Standards, Codes of Practice, AS3000, SIR’s and guidelines as well as a good working knowledge of the fundamentals of Quality Systems and adherence to procedures Network accreditation as applicable to state jurisdiction About Us: Bluecurrent was formed in 2023 after a joint venture between Vector and QIC was established.
