We are working with a global award-winning, digitally integrated development studio. They are looking for a mid-level backend developer with a focus on Node.js to join the team. The company has been operating for over 20 years and has built long-standing relationships with multiple household names across the world. They work in a low code environment and use several modern AI tools integrated into their core stack. There is also around 20-30% blend of DevOps involved in the position, so it's a great opportunity to upskill.Responsibilities: Lead & support several projects focused on backend development Drive best practices and methodologies with a multidisciplinary tech team Assist in supporting with DevOps Focus on TDD, CI/CD & pull requests Work in an agile environment Lead by example for junior developers Manage/build server-side applications Key Skills: 4+ years experience working within the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem Strong experience with Node.js and backend API development and support Experience building server-side features (with Nest.js a bonus) Experience with GraphQL Intermediate AWS DevOps experience (writing CI/CD scripts, containers, and setting up AWS hosts) Digital agency experience preferred Interest in security best practices What's in it for you?
