As a member of the Medium-Term Planning Team, you will be uniquely placed to experience many different facets of a growing SLC/BC mine. With it comes the responsibility and opportunity to have a significant impact on the performance, safety and culture of the operation. Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)Roster: 8 days on; 6 days offDepartment: Mining OperationsManager: Senior Mining EngineerEmployment Type: Permanent, Full Time In This Role You Will: Provide planning, coordination and engagement for mine projects to enable Carrapateena expansion including ventilation, services (RAW water, power, dewatering, compressed air, hot water), pump stations and sumps, temporary facilities, operational technology and general mining infrastructure. Design, plan, logistics, budgeting, and scheduling of mining projects to an execution level of detail in project definition documents. Management of consultants and engineering services providers engaged to develop supporting engineering designs. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive value-add projects. Provide mine projects inputs into the 13 week and quarterly schedules. Complete management of change documentation. Support management of consultants and engineering services providers. Assist site mining operations team where required. About You: Previous experience in underground mining in either practical underground experience, mine scheduling, production, design, mine projects or equivalent. Experience in planning projects for an underground metalliferous mine. Sub-level or block caving experience highly regarded. Experience in project estimating and scheduling. Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or similar. Ability to interact successfully with multiple internal stakeholders. Ability to work to multiple deadlines.
