This role provides administrative support to the team, keeping them informed and equipped so they can love people through their various responsibilities. As the Ministry Support Administrator, your core responsibilities will be the management of our database and assisting staff to make ministry happen. We’d love you to be providing us with information and data so we can figure out if we are being fruitful. To this end, your key roles will be: Utilising our Church Management Systems to effectively support ministryBe our Elvanto SuperAdmin who works both in and on the database to facilitate ministry Provide oversight of and insights from GHC and Adminosaur Support, train and equip the staff team and key volunteers to use these systems effectively as tools Providing administrative support to our ministry staff so they can keep loving peopleProduce, compile, format, print and distribute digital and print materials Keep resource materials in stock and up to date Manage our print room and office equipment Greeting people who interact with our office with a smileReceive visitors to the office and assist with their enquiries Respond to inquiries with timely, pastoral and professional attention Assist in the general operation and management of the office Growing as a Christian and a person in and through the roleParticipate in staff meetings for encouragement and personal Christian growth Consider ways to professionally develop Keep standards and WHS responsibilities We are looking for someone who: Is a committed evangelical church-going Christian who wants to glorify God by helping to build wholehearted disciples Is servant hearted, teachable and humble, wanting to grow in faith and use their gifts in ministry Has significant computer, ChMS and Google Suite experience and a technically intuitive mindset Displays a positive ‘can do’ attitude and personality Works with efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail Is a great listener and outcome-focused problem solver. Practicalities This role is permanent part-time for 2.5 days / 18.75 hours per week. Weekly working days/hours will be negotiated with the preferred candidate, and will include Mondays.
