The Role As the Mobile Equipment Design Manager, you’ll lead the design process of mobile equipment, ensuring the creation of detailed fabrication drawings and designs suitable for outsourced manufacturing. You will be hands on and at the forefront of driving continuous improvement, managing a variety of exciting and high-impact projects across a broad portfolio. What You’ll Do Leading new and trial MPU builds, from concept through to implementation. Assessing vendors and establishing new supplier relationships to support innovative and sustainable designs. Spearheading the preparation of design and manufacturing packages to ensure efficiency and precision. Managing the execution of field trials on closed courses and customer sites, ensuring designs perform as expected. Overseeing select MPU projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. What You’ll Bring You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture. A degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, with extensive mobile equipment design experience. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and a solid track record in mobile equipment design. Strong project engineering skills, with experience in managing capital projects. A natural leader with the ability to manage and inspire teams, while maintaining focus on technical excellence and delivery.
