Ultimate Security Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Monitoring Centre Manager to oversee our cutting-edge, Grade A1 monitoring centre and deliver exceptional security solutions. This is a high-impact role where you will play a key part in shaping the direction of our operations and driving innovation through collaboration, data-driven insights, and advanced technology. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of monitoring operators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations of the monitoring centre, ensuring smooth service delivery and continuous improvement of processes. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with IT, security teams, and other departments to address technical issues, enhance system performance, and implement best practices across the organisation. Reporting & Analytics: Generate detailed reports and statistical analyses of monitoring performance, incidents, and system health. Use these insights to recommend actionable improvements and monitor the effectiveness of security outcomes. System Performance & Issue Resolution: Oversee the health of security monitoring systems, proactively identifying and addressing technical concerns with the IT department to ensure system uptime and optimal performance. Policy & Procedure Development: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with business objectives and compliance standards to uphold the highest security and operational standards. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring alignment with service delivery expectations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities within the monitoring centre are compliant with relevant industry regulations, company standards, and best practices. Selection Criteria: Proven Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in a leadership role within the security or monitoring industry, ideally within a monitoring centre or operational environment. Security System Expertise: In-depth knowledge of security technologies, monitoring software, protocols, and troubleshooting methods. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong ability to analyse incident data, generate reports, and identify trends or areas for improvement, using statistics to drive operational decisions. Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively, both within the team and across various departments and stakeholders. Collaboration Across Teams: Experience in leading and facilitating collaboration across departments, such as IT, security operations, and client services, to achieve common goals. Adaptability & Flexibility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands. Proficiency in Monitoring Systems: Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring software, systems, and tools. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Why Join Us?
