Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, renowned for its commitment to conservation and exceptional wildlife experiences, is seeking a manager to lead its Life Sciences team. As Moonlit Sanctuary’s Life Sciences Manager, you would report to the General Manager and be responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of Life Sciences. This critical role requires a leader driven to achieve impactful outcomes for Moonlit Sanctuary and its people, the animals in our care and the overall visitor experience. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and high performance, aligning with Moonlit Sanctuary’s values and strategic goals. Operational Management: Oversee all Life Sciences operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, animal welfare, compliance and visitor experience. Continuous Improvement: Drive a growth mindset, collaborating on better and more efficient ways of working in support of Moonlit Sanctuary’s goals. Conservation: Oversee Moonlit Sanctuary’s conservation programs in alignment with its vision and mission, exploring new opportunities for impactful change. What We're Looking For: A qualified professional with relevant experience in a zoo or wildlife park in the conservation sector. A purpose-driven leader with the ability to engage, inspire and mentor a team. In-depth understanding and commitment to Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA) Australasia models and standards. Knowledge of leading-practice husbandry of a range of native Australian animals. A strong commitment to wildlife conservation and an eagerness to build on current successes and grow with the business. Why Join Us?
