Work from Home Mortgage Enforcement Solicitor We are a firm that specializes in acting on commercial mortgage advances throughout Australia. We are looking for an experienced commercial litigator to take over the enforcement of defaulting loans. With a premium reputation forged over 23 years by doing the one thing extremely well, our reputation is second to none in the commercial mortgage field. This is a work from home position. We have built our firm to allow for maximum flexibility, the least amount of stress, and the highest possible paycheck. We pay you a weekly base salary but your remuneration is based on a generous percentage of your earnings. This means you have no boss - only colleagues. We will strive to help you reach your fee earning goals. You will be assigned a paralegal and, as your practice grows, a junior associate solicitor to assist you. You will have conduct of your own matters and be a director of the firm under the close supervision and training of our Managing Partner, Kate Cooper. As your confidence grows, you will rely on her less and less. Kate is one of the most experienced mortgage enforcement solicitors in the country, so you will be learning from the best. Fee share is calculated and paid weekly. Your base salary will be $120,000 (gross). You will receive a 33% commission on fees recovered. Once you reach your stride (3-6 months depending upon your experience), your earnings will be between $150-$250k depending upon how much work you choose to take on. We are a warm and collegial workplace. Our solicitor directors closely collaborate with one another. Nevertheless, you will run your own matters, have your own clients, and be able to work at your own pace. This gives you the autonomy of a sole practitioner without the downsides of managing a practice. Your paralegal will do the administrative work (file opening, searches, calling to chase documents, etc.) and your associate will do the first draft of pleadings and file documents with the court. We have dedicated bookkeepers who handle all billing and trust accounts, as well as disbursements and receipts. We have an Operations Partner who manages systems, precedents, and recruitment.
