A loving and professional family in Mosman are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to assist after school with the care of their happy and curious 6-year-old daughter. An ideal nanny will be calm, respectful, and responsible. Someone who is kind and able to communicate honestly and openly with the family. A nanny who is fun and genuinely interested in engaging with their daughter and becoming a part of their family. The afternoon will involve picking their daughter up from school, bringing her home, assisting with homework/reading/writing, and then engaging in fun and educational activities or going on an outing to the beach or park. Opportunity for extra hours for occasional overnight stays (1 – 2 nights) when mum is working away. The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To care for the child Pick up from school (walking distance) Assist with homework, reading and writing To take the child to the park or beach etc. To tidy up after the child Occasional meal preparation for the child when mum is working away Occasional overnight stays (1 – 2 nights) when mum is working away Start Date: 24th July 2024 Contract: 12 months plus, permanent / long term Pay: From $40 – $45 per hour The days and normal hours are 4 afternoons – 16 hours per week Monday to Thursday 3pm-7pm The family’s expectations from their nanny are: A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a nanny or child care Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one) Have a current Working with Children Check Driver’s licence preferred but not essential Display strong communication skills and speak English Basic cooking skills To play the piano would be a bonus Job Reference: LLM214 Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form. #J-18808-Ljbffr
