As one of the most popular motels in Cooma or even the Snowy Mountain area, Altair Motel with 19 rooms and no food and beverage service, has always smooth business and friendly guests. We are seeking an energetic manager to offer considerate accommodation service to our esteemed guests. Tasks and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the front desk, reservation, housekeeping and maintenance for the entire motel; Manage motel staff including rostering, recruiting and training, whilst controlling wage costs; Manage and resolve guest complaints in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure a high level of on-site customer service and satisfaction; Review customer feedback and propose continual improvement actions to boost customer satisfaction; Ensure the motel operation is compliant with liquor occupational health and safety and other associated regulations; Coordinate with local and overseas goods suppliers for purchasing activities; Maintain and improve healthy relationships with current corporate and government clients in NSW and other states of Australia; Plan and implement the motel's strategic development policy, including expanding local and overseas markets to attract new corporate and more profitable clients; Other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to live on site and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment; Able to work on weekends and public holidays; At least one year of full-time relevant experience; Knowledge of reservations software & MS Office.
