Your team Motor Claims forms part of the Operations department, which is known as the heart of Hollard. Key Responsibilities will include (however, not limited to the below): Manage a Motor Claims Team to achieve department expense budgets, key performance indicators and financial performance targets and budgets. Communicate and maintain claims KPI’s, guidelines, recommend updates to process and procedure manuals. Constant tracking and monitoring of teams performance, including the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports as required or agreed. Provide ongoing support, coaching and development to staff, and undertaking the performance and career development planning, along with providing monthly feedback to direct reports to maintain a culture of personal accountability for individual and team results. Ensure claims decisions are made in conjunction with the PDS, but with specific customer circumstances considered. About You You'll have a strong knowledge of Insurance Claims disciplines, practices, and products as well as knowledge of the Insurance industry regulatory requirements (mandatory). Motor claims experience is highly desirable. Proven team management & leadership skills (particularly leading remote teams). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. For Sydney based candidates, the role will be hybrid with a requirement to attend our North Sydney office one day per month.
