Specialising in stunning Celebration, Luxury Stays, Wedding Receptions & Unique Conference Retreats, historic Mount Lofty House is one of Australia's preferred destinations. Now we are seeking enthusiastic, energetic Guest Service Agents for our team at Mount Lofty House. As long as you are hospitable, flexible , and are genuine in your care for others, you will do well and have a lot of fun along the way. Our Guest Service Agents will have direct responsibility for: Welcoming all guests into our home with warm hospitality Managing the guest experience, from arrival through to departure Undertaking check-ins and check-outs of guests Answering and processing all reservation inquiries over the phone enthusiastically and responding via email within a timely manner Demonstrating genuine passion for our guests Having a full working knowledge of hotel rooms & rates, restaurant and spa services, as well as general hotel facilities Updating guest reservation information across multiple platforms Communicating any guest special requests to the appropriate department(s) and following up to ensure the request has been fulfilled in accordance with guest wishes Delivering memorable experiences Providing incredible, extraordinary customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Maintaining a positive selling approach to maximize up-selling Assisting the team in the broader Mount Lofty Estate as required Essential requirements for these key roles include: Great communication skills and a solution-focused approach Impeccable grooming and personal presentation standards A passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and success Experience in a Reservations, Front Office, or similar role is desired Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends Being a boutique hotel, this is a hands-on role, so be prepared to be the front face of Mount Lofty House!
