“GLF” stands for Global Landscapes Forum , known as the largest international knowledgeable platform dedicated to sustainable and inclusive landscapes. It functions as a multi-stakeholder forum, uniting a diverse array of participants from across the globe to deliberate on and propel landscape approaches for sustainable development. The extensive objective of the GLF is to advocate for a transformative shift towards sustainable development, aligning with the objectives outlined in the Paris Climate Agreement and the post-2020 biodiversity agenda. Unit: Global Landscapes Forum Job Place: Remote Deadline: 31 January, 2024 Education & Qualifications Requirements: Master’s degree in international relations. Master’s degree in communication, journalism, multimedia, photography, or visual storytelling. Bachelor’s degree in natural science. Work Experiences: Experience in digital communication and multimedia, photography, visual storytelling, or journalism. Experience in designing and editing WordPress content. Full knowledge of trends and inspiration from new opportunities, tools, and formats both globally and in the Global South. Languages: Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required. Responsible for providing copywriting and copy editing support for GLF communications. Responsible for pitching relevant and timely story ideas. Responsible for planning and designing multimedia stories for ThinkLandscape and Forest News platforms. Responsible for receiving and completing assignments for multimedia stories, news, and feature stories. Deadline for this opportunity is 31 January, 2024.
