Multiple Accounting opportunities - Government Our clients are looking for a number of Financial and Management Accountants to join their respective teams on a contract basis, sitting across AO6-8 levels. Details: Based Brisbane CBD with WFH flexibility Contract lengths vary from 3-9 months Attractive hourly rates Close to public transport Duties may include: Provide financial management services, financial performance information, and specialist advice to clients Contribute to annual budget development Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders Manage the revenue and expenditure budgets, forecasts and develop timely and accurate monthly management reports Contribute to the collection and input of budget data into various financial management systems Maintain the integrity of the general ledger Monitor and review financial reconciliations and analytical tasks Contribute or prepare responses to urgent requests for financial information Act as a Business Partner for major infrastructure projects Prepare monthly management reports, budget and forecasting updates, and maintain various financial models What we are looking for: Ability to work in fast-paced environments Prior experience in Government highly regarded Excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Demonstrated experience building and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders About the job: Contract Type: TEMPORARY Specialism: Accountancy & Finance Focus: Management Accountant Industry: Public Sector and Government Salary: AUD74 - AUD93 per hour + exclusive benefits programme Workplace Type: Hybrid Experience Level: Associate Location: Brisbane CBD Job Reference: 2044250/001 Date posted: 4 March 2025 Consultant: Daisy Smith Come join our global team of creative thinkers, problem solvers and game changers.
