15 Month Contract + 2 X 12 Month Extension Options Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth based opportunity NV1, NV2 or TSPV Clearance Required Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is currently seeking to engage Multiple Business Analysts and Multiple Senior Business Analysts for a long-term 15 month contract with two additional 12 month extension options. These positions can be based in either Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth.Position Descriptions: Multiple Business Analysts: The Business Analyst will work independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes; They will exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures; They will provide detailed ICT business analysis technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management and policy development; They will have considerable stakeholder engagement and may liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex issues; They will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve work unit and agency outcomes. Multiple Senior Business Analysts: The Senior Business Analysts will be accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve very complex ICT business analysis work within an integrated workforce; They will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a subject matter expert role; They will exercise sound decision making and judgement to provide expert policy advice; They will have in-depth knowledge of the ICT business change function and are responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and review of policies and procedures relevant to their work within that function; They will be responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships and will identify relevant stakeholders' expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes; They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development of their work area. Technical skills Required: Holds a Bachelor degree in business, business analytics, information technology or related field; Proficient in business intelligence tools, e.g. Power BI and Tableau.
