Canberra, Australia | Posted on 12/02/2025 Security Clearance: Australian Citizen must be able to obtain Negative vetting level Nv1 Key Duties and Responsibilities: Job Description: You will facilitate planning, organisation, integration, and delivery of complex systems engineering services and products. Job Duties and Responsibilities may include: Develop systems engineering documentation, system designs, and systems maintenance plans and configuration management plans. Contribute to project plans, ticketing systems, and project timelines. Deploy hosting platforms in a scalable and sustainable manner. Version control source code, use automation codebase for platform deployment, and maintain consistency in standards across the portfolio of platforms. Analyse complex systems engineering issues across a range of capability elements and apply expertise to identify and recommend courses of action. Undertake stakeholder engagement to identify business needs. Share knowledge with stakeholders including giving architectural overviews, presentations, and responses to requested architectural advice. Document the system designs and implementation processes. Use project tracking tools to track the progress of project delivery. Resolve issues and problems that arise during the course of capability development projects. Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures. Requirements Technical Skills: • Holds a Bachelor degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field. • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-based environments. • Strong knowledge of programming languages. • Experience in monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance. • Familiarity with automation software. • Understanding of cloud platforms is desirable.
