Details - Musculoskeletal Clinical Research Officer Musculoskeletal Clinical Research Officer Job No.: 568357 Work type: Fixed Term Fixed Term – until 31/12/2026 Bundoora Campus Be part of a passionate and innovative team About the position This position will assist with the co-ordination of the Victorian clusters for the NHMRC funded project: Implementation of a PAthway of CarE for people with chronic musculoskeletal conditions living in RURAL, regional and remote AUSTRALIA using allied telehealth (PACE-RURAL). This multi-centre collaborative project is a cluster-randomised step-wedged trial led by Professor Trudy Rebbeck at the University of Sydney with funding allocated to La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine (LASEM) Research Centre, School of Allied Health, Human Services and Sport. The successful candidate is expected to travel to the Victorian rural regions involved in study as required. Working from home can be arranged (if appropriate), but regular attendance at La Trobe University is encouraged to foster excellence in research culture. Skills and Experience Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline (e.g., physiotherapy, podiatry, nursing, medicine) and evidence of participation in higher level study relevant to discipline or professional area. Demonstrated experience working with clinicians and ability to work as a member of a team in a cooperative and collegial manner. Evidence of experience in research and evaluation and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision or independently. Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills. Full driver’s license as travel to rural regions will be required. Experience and/or skills in data management, data collection, and ability to consolidate and present data effectively.
