This opportunity is a parental leave backfill - part time 4 days per week commencing in March 2025 until December 2025. The Music Teacher (Performance) provides high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to Music students, to: support student success in Music courses and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways ensure BHI Group compliance requirements are met. The position reports to the Coordinator and is responsible for liaising with students, relevant industry groups, community services providers, overseas partners and employees of the BHI Group at all levels. The Music Teacher (Performance) is part of the Faculty of Creative, Business and Technology. Success in the position will result in a high performing and engaged team, student achievement and improved education and employment outcomes, compliance and quality education and the development of opportunities to grow market share. About You: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/22) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education Vocational qualifications at Advanced Diploma level or above is essential Relevant industry qualifications and an AQF 5 or higher vocational qualification Current and sound experience in relevant field Experience with student management systems for attendance tracking, retrieval of student details where required, and resulting Demonstrated ability to design and deliver logical, succinct, up-to-date and engaging course materials and lessons. Demonstrated proficiency in using learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for students Ability to develop a range of complex documents that comply with all relevant quality standards, including unit plans and assessment tools High level awareness of, and responsiveness to, people from a broad range of diverse backgrounds and emotional contexts About Us: We are proud to be a leading education provider with a strong reputation for delivering high quality educational outcomes.
