NGA - Respiratory Unit - Associate Nurse Unit Manager Central Adelaide Local Health Network, Woodville Salary RN-2A $103,353 - $110,497 p.a. (pro rata) + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Permanent part-time working 32 hours per week About the Role As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the Respiratory Unit at TQEH, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional nursing services to patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including Asthma, COPD, Pneumonia, and Interstitial Lung Diseases. This dynamic and fast-paced environment will see you working alongside a skilled team, ensuring continuity and consistency of care, while developing less experienced staff and fostering a collaborative approach to patient outcomes. In this role, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager in leading the team, overseeing staff performance, recruitment, and managing daily ward operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation of practice changes, managing rostering, work allocation, and leave management, as well as monitoring financial and supplies planning. About You We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. If you’re passionate about leading a dynamic healthcare team and making a difference in patient care, we’d love to hear from you. Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of post-registration experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Experience supervising staff and students, with the ability to guide and mentor. Knowledge of relevant legislation, healthcare standards, and quality improvement systems.
