Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in oral surgery demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position. Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and professional development in the relevant field of specialty of Oral Surgery, including evidence of participation in continuing professional development. Demonstrated effective communication skills (written and verbal), clinical skills, judgement and expertise, teamwork, time management and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting. Proven skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Dental Practitioner including modelling of a high standard of professional behaviour to junior dental staff. Understanding of, and commitment to, the principles of public sector dentistry, service performance and accountability. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, education and/or mentoring junior dental staff and the dental team. Valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
