About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allergy and Clinical Immunology team as a Nurse Consultant - Oral Immunotherapy Program , where you will be responsible for: Providing clinical nursing expertise and leadership for specified patients, groups, and areas of practice. Acting as an expert within their area of practice with autonomy and decision-making authority. Delivering high-level care for paediatric patients with allergic conditions in collaboration with the healthcare team. Assessing, managing, and coordinating care for children undergoing peanut oral immunotherapy (OIT). Supporting families with home food introduction ladders. Leading and coordinating projects or programs to improve patient, client, and service outcomes. Ensuring accountability for nursing/midwifery practice, care outcomes, professional advice, and delegated responsibilities. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience. Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing in accordance with the relevant standards. Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.
