You'll be a crucial part of executing Huon's retail strategy and driving our success in the market. Other duties of the role include but are not limited to: Manage Accounts & Drive Growth: Handle key accounts in Independent Grocery and Alternate Channels, aiming to hit sales and profit targets while spotting and chasing new market opportunities. Collaborate & Build Relationships: Work with marketing to create awesome campaigns that boost brand awareness and foster strong connections with key contacts and stakeholders. Stay Informed & Report: Keep an eye on market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities. Regularly update on progress and suggest ways to overcome challenges. About You Our ideal candidate will have: Experience & Expertise: 5+ years in the retail grocery/FMCG industry, with Independent Grocery experience in Australia. Proven ability to develop operational sales strategies and tactics from concept to execution. Communication & Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills with a high degree of professionalism. Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships at various levels. Analytical & Financial Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and use data effectively. Strong financial and commercial acumen, including P&L management and negotiation skills. Initiative & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems, and exercise sound judgment. Collaborative and flexible approach to problem-solving and information sharing. Time Management & Business Development: Ability to prioritise workload, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Experience in developing new business relationships within Independent Grocery in Australia. Proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to explore new business opportunities.
