We have over 520 sites across Australia under our EG Ampol banner. ABOUT THE ROLE: The National Fuel Supply Chain Manager leads all operational aspects of the fuel supply chain from terminal to EG sites nationally. This is inclusive of terminal and site access, transport management, inventory management, delivery defects and stock-related concerns such as fuel quality, shortage, and misdelivery. You will play a key role in ensuring that operations are aligned with site-specific goals, emphasizing safety, quality, timely execution, and cost efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES IN A SNAPSHOT Reporting directly to the National Fuel Operations Manager, you will: Build and manage relationships with strategic partners to drive successful outcomes. Uphold expected occupational health and safety standards in alignment with legislative obligations, and actively investigate fuel transport partner incidents. Maintain systems and reports used to manage fuel transport partner performance and compliance. Facilitate the minimisation of stock-related disruption to customers at site, and actively consider opportunities for improved supply chain operations. Lead the maintenance of data systems that facilitate management of fuel inventory holdings critical to stakeholders. Support and coordinate emergency responses for fuel-related incidents. Coordinate administrative tasks inclusive of vendor payments, database maintenance and transport rate review approvals. Lead the timely investigation and response to customer queries regarding fuel quality, calibration and other related matters. Support the National Fuel Operations Manager to tender, negotiate and review fuel transport partner contracts. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Previous experience in supply chain and distribution. Experience in fuel supply chain particularly terminals, carriers, and wet stock management is desirable. Expertise in managing fuel inventory, optimizing cash flow, ensuring product quality, and overseeing distribution arrangements. Competence in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and coordinating emergency responses. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders and government authorities. Capability to analyse data and trends to make informed recommendations and improvements. Availability to be on call and support outside of standard business operating hours. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
