Description We are seeking an energetic senior professional to join our growing Development Team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in major tenant lease negotiations, strategic asset management and upfront project experience. Reporting to the General Manager of Development, this is a senior role within our business. The role will involve collaborating with internal teams as well as external stakeholders. This is a new role driven by growth in the Haben business. Haben is a privately owned funds and property management business that specialises in unlocking value from retail shopping centres currently located across the East coast of Australia. We are growing rapidly whilst maintaining our personal touch and care both about our community of co-investors and partners, and the communities where our assets are located. We are one of Australia’s largest privately owned syndicate retail investors with 13 shopping centres and circa $3B worth of funds under management. Our most recent acquisition was Westpoint Blacktown earlier this year. About the role Unlocking value with major tenant lease negotiations Lease and turnover rent analysis Strategic asset management and upfront project planning Providing guidance to asset management teams Negotiation and management of key documents including leases and licences Presentations, board papers and progress reporting About you Established relationships with major retail tenants Degree qualified in a property related discipline Ability to identify opportunities, plan strategically and influence outcomes Effectively deal with ambiguity and complexity Present and communicate well with strong Microsoft Office skills Entrepreneurial thinker This role will work across our National Portfolio with some interstate travel.
