Due to growth and technology advancements, a vacancy is now available for a National People and Culture Manager to lead and drive the P&C functions.This generalist role involves enhancing talent and engagement, as well as executing HR initiatives, including project management and system improvements, in accordance with applicable laws and modern HR practices. Key objectives of the role Work collaboratively with all managers across the business to advise and strategically manage industrial and HR risks, utilising a sound working knowledge of the legal framework applying to a national footprint and modern Award interpretation. Manage the national recruitment plan, including providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholder engagement. Improve and implement HR Information System modules, including but not limited to Performance Development Review (PDR) and workforce planning to provide timely training and assistance to managers to ensure that modules are performed accurately and on time. Continuous review and updates of company policies and procedures to ensure they remain compliant and in line with contemporary human resource practices. Execute accurate and timely onboarding, movement and off boarding processes in line with company policies and procedures. Provide training and assistance to managers to ensure that processes are performed accurately and on time. Execute an annual employee culture survey and the interpretation of results to facilitate improvements of business processes. Execute any HR initiatives as directed by the business as part of its strategic and/or business plans, as amended from time to time. Contribute to WHS committee meetings to strategically advise the business on trends, risks and training needs (if applicable), including management of return to work requirements for any injured employees (if any). Continue to investigate modern and emerging human resource practices, with a view to strengthen our Employer Value Proposition and ensuring that company practices remain contemporary. As the successful candidate The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience with a proven track record in human resources and a strong background in operational HR functions. You will demonstrate operational excellence with a passion for hands-on, day-to-day HR operations. With a strategic mindset, you will align HR initiatives with business goals to drive organisational success delivering effective HR best practice and providing solutions. You’re exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to build strong relationships across the organisation whilst your natural leadership style will drive engagement enabling you to guide and influence your direct reports and key stakeholders. Adaptability will be key, as you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and projects.
