National Procurement Manager, Reporting to the Managing Director - Housing Your New Role will include: Develop and direct the implementation of sourcing national strategies to enhance, develop and influence the business growth. Partnering with all key suppliers, you will build effective relationships with the aim of delivering mutual value, savings and quality products and service. The establishment and enhancement of processes and workflows. Supporting the onboarding of new suppliers and contractors to improve the housing team's operational outputs. Set budgets and cost control processes. Manage cost effective solutions. Manage and support the resolving of any claims. Review documentation for compliance with the Head Contract. Liaise with subcontractors and designers. Oversee the maintenance of specific registers, forms and checklists. Attend Expos, Seminars and Corporate events as required. Manage and lead the procurement team. About You: Minimum 7 - 10 years previous experience in Contract Management, Senior Estimating or Procurement Management roles within the Building and Construction Industry (Volume Retail, Wholesale and KDRB highly desirable). Strong knowledge of head contract and subcontract tendering, standards, procedures and the competitive market. Must have exposure to Victorian and Queensland markets. Exceptional client management skills. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
