This position is located in: Head Office Employment Type: Full-time The purpose of the National Relationship Manager is to manage and drive Tokio Marine Australasia's relationships with its leisure travel distribution partners for manufactured products. These partners are the Royal Automobile Clubs of Australia and its representative body AMS (collectively known as the Clubs), as well as Aussietravelcover (ATC). About the Opportunity: Based in Sydney and reporting to the Chief Distribution Officer, your role will include: Driving sales through relationship management, utilising and presenting data to influence distributor behaviours to drive sales outcomes Provide guidance, support and advice on effective marketing activities that deliver travel insurance sales objectives Oversight and training of the function to ensure TMMA fulfils its obligations under the relevant agreements, guaranteeing distributors adhere to the TMMA training requirements and timeframes Collaborate with the Product and Underwriting Manager to develop sales training to improve internal distributor staff skills with respect to selling travel insurance in person and over the phone Supporting the Chief Distribution Officer to negotiate terms with various distributors Manage and conduct sample check reviews of distributor sales processes and adherence to obligations and compliance requirements Lead as a business subject matter expert to develop relevant training materials that meet TMMA and distributor needs Utilise tools created by the Actuarial department and publicly available data to produce regular reviews of sales performance broken down by distribution partner for the identification of sales opportunities and threats Chair monthly sales and review meetings, prepare monthly and quarterly formal communication materials for Clubs staff and distribution partners Develop leisure travel initiatives and projects as a key subject matter expert, improving the product suite to drive growth and identifying strategic enhancement opportunities for claims and customer service functions Execute strong people management and leadership skills of direct report(s) in line with company values and engagement About You: As our preferred candidate, you will have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field RG146 Tier 1 Personal Advice (preferred) or Tier 2 General Advice (desired) certification 10+ years' experience in travel insurance within a similar position with demonstrated skills in relationship/partnership management within the industry Proficient with PowerBI, MS Office and Tableau is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to showcase strong interpersonal, strategic sales, presentation skills and well-versed business acumen will be looked upon favourably What’s in it for you?
