The Role The National Retail Manager is responsible for leading the transformation and growth of our retail network nationally. You will drive innovation retail strategies to enhance our retail experience, improve execution and increase sales and profitability across all stores. In this role you will oversee and manage all of retail, ensuring operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Sales Performance - Drive sales growth and profitability for all stores. Wages - Manage wage budgets and ensure that they are controlled effectively through efficient roster management. Customer Experience - Design & implement customer services strategies that deliver noteworthy experiences. Maintain high standards for customer service and product knowledge. Operational Efficiency - Ensure compliance and operational standards across all store locations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to achieve operational excellence across all retail stores. Team Leadership and Development - Actively lead, coach and develop high-performing Retail teams. Strategic Initiatives & Market Expansion - Oversee and manage initiatives that drive growth and align with our strategic objectives and brand purpose, including store expansion. Financial Management - Oversee financial performance of the retail division, ensuring profitability targets are met, costs are effectively managed. Brand Management - Collaborate with Brand Marketing to execute the brand strategy and seasonal programs at a retail level. Store Visits - Travel to each of Nimble Activewear stores (including interstate) to assess performance and ensure consistent service and brand representation. Skills and Experience Strategic leader with a track record of driving revenue and profit growth within a retail business (preferably fashion or apparel). Experience in building effective teams. Result-driven, comfortable with taking initiative and proven decision-making and change management skills. Passionate about retail, with a customer-first approach. Ability to quickly analyse key business metrics to identify performance improvement opportunities. Flexibility to travel nationally and work some weekends. Full work rights in Australia.
