Hatch Asia is exclusively partnering with a global organization within the building materials industry to help identify a dynamic Specification Manager to enhance awareness of the organization's products within the building materials community by fostering a robust pipeline of technical specifications to effectively support sales objectives. The Challenges Build and manage relationships with specification partners, architects, specifiers, and designers in the designated territory to secure product specifications in projects and BOQs. Generate market demand through effective territory management, sales meetings, and presentations to businesses, targeting key contracts in the Building Materials and specification channel. Identify, target, and visit architect firms and related clients, building relationships to expand market influence and project specifications. Work closely with Sales Executives, regional and national teams, and core functions (marketing, logistics, legal, finance) to align with strategies and achieve business objectives. Take initiative to identify problems, develop solutions, and seize opportunities to enhance processes, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to responsibilities. What It Takes A minimum of 7+ years of sales experience, including 4+ years in a commercial specification sales role, ideally in the building materials industry. Demonstrated success in prospecting, account management, negotiation, and achieving results within a KPI-driven environment. Strong understanding of the brand's integrity and its application within the building materials sector. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Solid grasp of financial and business transactions to support informed decision-making and strategy implementation.
